Allie + Jackson

KB has been a family operation from day one. From raising kids together, to family vacations, to our husbands barbecuing on the weekends; KB is all about family. Last year we had the opportunity to work Whitney and JA, a couple who’s family we would grow to love. From their wedding we met Joy, Eddie, LeeAnn, John, Allie, and Jackson. Little did we know that our family business would have the chance to help another family plan two weddings!
Not long after Whitney and JA’s wedding, Allie and Jackson got engaged. We were hoping beyond hope that they would be calling us to help out. When we finally received the call to meet with Jackson and Allie we were pumped.
Allie and her mom, Joy, had an immediate vision and theme for the wedding. They planned to have a traditional church wedding, and a reception in their family barn. The family worked tirelessly to update the barn and prepare for the 400+ person reception. The reception was a mixture of classic round reception tables to vintage seating areas for lounging and hanging out. A large fire pit was a popular lounge area, as well as a few vintage couches. From the signature cocktails, to the canoe full of waters this wedding was one for the books. Every detail was perfectly planned and designed to celebrate Allie and Jackson.
Another part of Allie and Jackson's wedding that was extra special for KB was their floral design. Allie chose the most magnificent color palette of orange, toffee, peach, cream, and bold greenery. The design elements that went into her bouquets were so much fun. Being able to use such unique flowers in our design was a dream come true. Kacey was able to take an inspiration picture from Allie and re-create exactly what she was wanting. When comes to floral design Kacey is the master for sure!

Outside of the perfect design and decor what you couldn’t miss was the love that was shared between family and friends. Allie and Jackson are well loved. Their sweet spirits and energetic personalities are hard to not love. It feels like the Hank/Sowell/Shoulta’s have been a part of KB from day one. We will miss our phone calls and texts from each of them as our business moves on. Luckily, there are a few more siblings we are counting on seeing again down the road!
To Allie & Jackson:
May your marriage be filled with adventure, laughter, and love. Let your kindness continue to be a part of your day to day life. Enjoy every moment as a married couple, and stay in touch. We will miss you guys greatly!
Love-
Blair and Kacey
