Lacey and Michael celebrated their nuptials at a timeless southern traditional venue, The Charleston. The venue is located right in the heart of downtown Bowling Green, which makes it a great location for those who are both out of town guests and local residents. The weekend Lacey and Michael got married happened to be WKU homecoming, but between all the festivities that occurred downtown and all of our wedding duties, the two events never seemed to clash, which was a blessing.
Lacey and Michael are from the same town, Elizabethtown Kentucky, but never crossed paths romantically until about 4 years ago. Michael’s sweet and thankful spirit and Lacey’s warm personality that makes you feel welcome wherever you are makes them a perfect fit in more ways than one. Their first look was one that could be in a movie. Lacey walked down a grand staircase as Michael faced with his back to her. They read each letters and while they both laughed and cried, so did I. Behind a table on my hands and knees. Trying not to be seen as they shared this moment that they would never forget.
After that moment, all their worries seemed to drift away. The rest of the day was calm and relaxing which made it go off without a hitch. I surrounded my day with a bridal party that was out of this world and amazing vendors to top it all off. Lacey and Michael took their time to study their vendors and it showed the day of their wedding. Everyone was “A+” and only focused on them. The ceremony was short and sweet, and before we knew it, Lacey Graham was officially a Gann. What a sweet moment watching their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. The reception was to follow with a lovely dinner, two great best man and maid of honor speeches, amazing cake, and a beautiful sparkler exit. The two newlyweds had a flawless (but chilly day) surrounded by their closest friends and family. As they are soaking in the Mexico sun, I am just waiting for another sneak peak from their photographer.
To Lacey and Michael,
Thank you for allowing me to be apart of such a fun day, you two are so incredibly sweet, and serving you that day was an honor and a breeze. I hope God blesses you two with many years of blessings and happiness and that your marriage only gets stronger with age.
