Our second wedding this season was one of our largest to date. When we sat down with Whitney, JA, and future mother-in-law Lee Ann, we knew right away we wanted to work with this family. Lee Ann had found us on Facebook and reached out to us for a consultation. They didn’t know much about us, but they were willing to take a chance on us. Not only did they ask us to coordinate, but they chose our partial planning package and a floral package. To say that this wedding has consumed Kacey and I would be an understatement. From the beginning we loved the idea of their nuptials taking place in JA’s parents home church, where they too got married. The iconic stone church that sits on a corner street in downtown Bowling Green was going to be a perfect sentimental touch to their special day.
Whitney had chosen classic white and greenery as her color palette for the flowers and overall wedding design. A fun option of a donut bar paired with traditional wedding cake perfectly compliments this couple and their personalities.
Through our six month journey together, Whitney and JA faced many wedding planning challenges. From a dress that was completely wrong, to an aisle runner that wouldn't roll, they worked through all the craziness and stayed focused on the task at hand. Kacey and I thoroughly enjoyed the challenges and tried our very best to help them make sound decisions and figure it all out. What we love so much about working with this couple is how close we grew over the months of planning and week of design. Watching them twirl around the dance floor with one of their groomsmen serenading them was such a sweet moment. Standing back and seeing how their vision and our efforts came together to form a beautiful day and night was so rewarding. JA and Whitney have a tribe of family and friends that love them hard, we are so blessed to step into their world for a brief moment and see all that magic come together.
To JA and Whitney,
Thank you for allowing us in to your lives to share such a special time. We look forward to seeing how your lives continue to melt together over many years of happiness. We hope you soak up each day and look back on June 2nd with the fondest of memories.
